Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gea has moved up on the Manchester United all-time appearances chart after the Norwich game at Old Trafford. It meant De Gea moved above Roy Keane into 12th on the club’s legendary appearance table.
De Gea was in post when the Red Devils trashed the Canaries 3-2 in what was his 481st match appearance for the Manchester Club. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second hattrick of the season since he joined the club for a second spell.
The 31-year-old Manchester United shot-stopper was fantastic over the weekend against Norwich City, pulling up some fantastic saves to help United secure the match-important win to climb up the Premier League log.
With six matches to play, De Gea could climb one more place up the appearances chart before the end of this season: ex-defender Arthur Albiston is only four games ahead.
